Open the composer from Request intro on a person or path, or from Request Intro on the Introductions page.

Review the path and recipients

The composer can prefill a target and proposed connector. Before writing:
  1. Confirm the target is the correct person.
  2. Confirm the connector is someone you can appropriately ask.
  3. Review the path explanation and any missing context.
  4. Change or abandon the route if it does not match the relationship you understand.

Edit the request

Review the To connector, subject, and message. Keep the request easy to evaluate and forward:
  • state who you want to meet;
  • explain why the conversation is relevant now;
  • include the minimum context the connector needs;
  • make it easy to decline; and
  • remove generated text or relationship claims you cannot verify.

Understand the actions

Send request and Schedule do not deliver an external email, LinkedIn message, or calendar invitation. They update the Introd workflow record. Perform and verify external communication through the approved channel yourself.

Setup check

Submitting or scheduling a request can be blocked until the required LinkedIn and email setup is available. Follow the visible error, review Network Setup, and retry after the integration state is ready. Saving a draft remains the safe option while setup is incomplete. After creation, open Track introduction requests to verify the stored record and status.
