Common issues

Verify the browser profile

Introd and LinkedIn must be signed in in the same Chrome profile that contains the extension. A private window or second Chrome profile has separate cookies and extension state.

Stop an automatic retry

Closing the LinkedIn connections tab does not reliably stop an incomplete import. The extension can recreate or reuse an inactive tab on its next background-resume check.
  1. Open the extension popup.
  2. Choose Pause Sync.
  3. Confirm the visible state is Sync paused.
Pause stops the full-network run. It does not stop contextual identity capture while you browse other LinkedIn pages. Disable Introd in chrome://extensions when you need all extension page processing to stop.

Reset browser-local extension state

Use this only when normal retry and sign-in recovery fail:
  1. Open the extension popup.
  2. Open Settings with the gear icon.
  3. In Danger zone, find Clear local extension data.
  4. Choose Clear local data.
  5. Confirm the prompt.
  6. Reconnect Introd and LinkedIn.
This action clears browser-local auth state, settings, sync caches, queued signals, and diagnostics. It does not delete server-side relationship data, and reinitialization restores default-on capture settings. It also does not guarantee that an already-running page crawler stops immediately; disable the extension in Chrome when you need its page code to stop.

Before requesting help

Collect:
  • extension version from Settings
  • Chrome version
  • exact visible status and error text
  • whether LinkedIn and Introd are signed in in the same Chrome profile
  • imported count and visible total, if shown
  • approximate time of the failure
Email those details to [email protected]. Never include a password, OAuth code, access token, browser cookie, or extension package.
