# Privacy & Security

> Understand the data Introd uses, the access each integration requests, and the controls available to you.

This section describes the current customer-facing controls for Introd accounts, provider integrations, and the Chrome extension.

## Controls at a glance

These controls are separate. Clearing extension data does not disconnect a provider, delete an Introd account, or serve as a durable capture opt-out. Disable Introd in Chrome when its page code must stop.
